Why Travel & Blog?

It's been quite a while since my last post and I haven't decided yet which to write about next. Since my mind isn't cooperating to remember the details of my past travels, I made a piece on why I travel (and write about it) and why you should too.

To travel is to educate one's self. The joy of every journey to places you're ecstatic at is as treasure in your mind, that no one can tell the story behind the pictures you've taken unless you yourself. The delighted look on your face brought that sunshiny feeling- you are in jubilant spirit. Every stories are unique and are interesting too (even to a few). The luxury behind traveling is not pomposity at all, it's about the "chance". Chance that you have seen the beauty of your surroundings and its situation, met new acquaintances and have observed their cultures.

Basically, travel for travels sake and enjoy what you do. Since I'm no good at writing a good story for my travels, I first call this diversion "my photoblog of wandering". For the past year, I admit that I'm not really into writing about the place, nor the food I ate, nor where I have set my foot on this very instant. I wish to be as spontaneous as the fishes in the ocean or as unbidden as the rays of the rising sun. Thanks to the people who taught me the hows, at least,  but (still) I don't have the talent to post itineraries or how much wealth involved.

Take a lot of pictures. Ever imagine how fortunate you are to have gone to such a paradise like Boracay and El Nido? Those souvenirs of the places you visited are made immortal thru your picture. One day soon you will reminisce about the place and you have a good image to represent and expound, not just in your mind, but also in print, saved in the memory of  the cyberspace. Yes, I am a rugged camera user, the idea of purchasing an SLR camera isn't on my list but love to have one. I'd rather save the sum for my future destinations or buy other compact & usable travel gears.

Travel now while you have the strength, even in limited riches, you'll have a good time communing with the things and the views that bring smile on your face. Sooner or later when you have all the means, you can no longer enjoy the long walk, and the climb uphill. Why think twice when you can afford the cruising and have the option to go somewhere? Immerse yourself in the satisfaction of wandering. Create a digital window to show how have you enjoyed the journey.  The scenery we see now is different on what are we going to witness tomorrow. Every day is a constant change, just like the clouds, the waves in the ocean and the blew of the wind. Have a safe and lots of  happy travels to us all!
