Panagbenga 2015

It's the wee hours of Saturday, February 28, and I am one of those spectators eager to have a spot at the post office area to have a better view of the performers on parade.

What's good about being situated in Session Road  is that the participants aren't bored yet of the long walk and they still perform with excitement.

I am more of the street dancing parade fan. I like the music and the beat of the drum & lyres playing the Panagbenga theme. The mantra is refreshing, it was in my saved ring tune for more than 2 years.

Then Sunday came for the float parade. I was again one of the "early birds" to fill the Session Road.

According to the anchors of the Panagbenga live streaming, a total of 2 million tourists visited Baguio for the 20th Panagbenga Festival. I wonder if it was since the opening or just the highlights of the festival. But yes, it was like all roads lead to Baguio City that time.
