Ever heard of the Panagbenga theme?
Happening every February, Baguio City's festive atmosphere is up, from the very first day of February until the very first Sunday of March.
Yes, I can still hear the beat of the marching bands, the music still lulled me in a way and made that like an LSS that i hum it every time. And yes, the cool Baguio breeze i can still feel and the smell is refreshing.
The faces of the festival marked on every lens of the visitors and tourists. Once the the parade started, people would occupy the both channels of Session Road to Harrison up to the Athletic Bowl to witness the exhibitions. After that, it's literally you can't throw a pin. It's like "all" people from the plains gathered and went up to Baguio City. The next time you visit, make sure it's on festive days.
Panagbenga is considered the festival of festivals in the north Luzon island of the Philippines, take some time and make your way to the Flower Festival.
