Buses going to Cagayan Valley are available on schedule basis.
There are 2 big bus companies plying these route- Victory Liner in Kamias and Pasay, and Florida Bus Lines in Cubao and Sampaloc.
Florida Bus Lines in TUG
and are equipped with toilet, which they call "super deluxe"
It was my first time to spot a sleeper bus, Florida Bus Lines got
double-decker-bed buses servicing Sampaloc in Manila to Tuguegarao
and vice versa, check their schedules, it's usually a night trip.
GMW Trans bound Vigan
If you wish to go on a roadtrip to Vigan, then check GMW Trans
stationed near Florida Liner Bus Station in Tuguegarao City.
Sts. Peter and Paul Metropolitan Cathedral is located in Tuguegarao City, the seat of the Archdiocese of Tuguegarao. It is a wrong notion that Callao cave is in Tuguegarao City
Side street
Horse-driven carriages are still visible in this part of the North.
Victory Liner in TUG
Victory Liner Bus Schedules from Tuguegarao City to Metro Manila.
Buses and shuttle vans going to Aparri, Claveria and Sta. Ana
can also be found along the city highway.
A must taste
Dok's Carinderia is a local canteen located along the HiWay
of Tuguegarao City, just across the Victory Liner.
Don't expect much from a side street canteen.
It's the one nearest to the bus station and I never looked for
another Panciteria along.
Pancit Cabagan is made of fresh miki noodles served with toppings of
lechon kawali, quail eggs, mixed vegetables and served with
chopped white onion, calamansi and soy sauce on a separate small bowl .
The broth where the pancit is cooked is also served in a small soup bowl.
You can mix it with the pancit if you wish.

ReplyDeleteSo glad someone had a blog with bus schedules from Tuguegarao to Laoag. Have a bus trip with the itinerary as stated and was really having problems getting GMW bus schedules from the locals. Way to go.
ReplyDeletehave fun, JinJax and have a safe trip!
DeleteThanks for sharing this Miguel. We're visiting Isabela and Cagayan over the long weekend and this info is really helpful in planning our itinerary. Very helpful. Thanks Miguel, we hope to join you in your future travel :-) Ram & Ed
ReplyDeletei don't blog much of travel's "where to/how to", i'm more of the destinations, the schedules are secondary.. but it's always good to hear this helped in a way..
Deletesee you on the road.. thank you Ram & Ed..
ilang oras po ang byahe from tuguegarao to vigan? at anu pong magagandang places ang pwedeng puntahan sa vigan? salamat po!
ReplyDeletetuguegarao to vigan will take you around 8-10 hours via the provincial bus, GMW. Vigan is sometimes called the "old world city". If you appreciate history and the preserved olden structures, you might wish to visit this living museum of the North and be reminded of the great past of this famous tourist destination. For more of this destinations or information, you may also refer to the TICKETS i followed.
DeleteTravel hours may be long, but the sceneries are perfect and you have all the options to visit nearby spots.
Ilang stop over po papuntang Tuguegarao? 8-10 hours?
Deletedo you have contact nos. for GMW trans? been googling it but couldn't find any.
ReplyDeletebtw, this is helpful. thanks.
heya dominie minie, i don't have their numbers, they usually used private mobiles.. but if you wish to ride their buses, beware of the 11:30AM trip, it's no longer in their course..
ReplyDeletewala sa ayos yang florida bus na yan....pagudpud to la union inabot ng mahigit 8 oras...puro tigil kahit saan....kahit sinong pumapara...pilit na isinisiksik ang mga pasahero...
ReplyDeletegood day, do you have an itinerary for a tuguegarao-cagayan-pagudpud trip, i already visited ilocos twice (diy)but i know nothing about the transportation and how much time it will take me to visit the 3 places above, please ill appreciate all the help i can get, thanks
ReplyDeleteheya william, i usually do not observe itinerary on my travels, i just go whenever possible but following strictly the scheduled buses going somewhere, just because transportation in this part of Northern Luzon especially the bigger bus companies known in NCR are limited.. i have so much to update concerning my travels in the North- the Regions 1 and 2 and the CAR, especially that more readers are asking the bus schedules, and like everyone else reading, asking for directions.. this Fleeting Look of Tuguegarao I made was solely intended as my guide but I am glad this somehow helps.. will do as asked william.. thanks for visiting..
ReplyDeletethanks for the immediate reply, goodluck and more travels sir
Deleteyou may check this out >> http://biyahengpalos.blogspot.com/2013/04/northern-experience.html
Deletesayang lang bayad mo sa sleeper bus na yan, mahal pa (better to take a plane sa presyo nya)...di comfortable sakyan...better get the Super Deluxe nila. You should have opted the authentic Tugue pancit batil patung not the Pancit Cabagan sir.
ReplyDeletei haven't tried the sleeper bus, i just got amused when i spotted one, but yes, i did rode the super deluxe 2-1 seater with toilet..
ReplyDeletei actually tasted the pancit batil patung, the cabagan and the what they call "pancit tuguegarao". i prefer the cabagan more than the batil patung. while the "pancit tuguegarao" is not that tempting to my taste, i am not a fan of chow with livers.. :)
Hi palos! anu pong transit un super deluxe 2-1 seater with toilet na sinakyan mo and how much po un? thank you.
ReplyDeletemagpupunta kase kami dun sa month end. thank you in advance!
Victory Liner from either Kamias or Pasay in NCR, that's about P750.00 more or less but unlikely to reach P800.00 (since i took the bus not from NCR..)
Deletefor Victory Liner bus schedules, check this link >>> http://biyahengpalos.blogspot.com/2013/04/northern-experience.html

ReplyDeleteHello sir palos, can u offer a hotel in vigan that has low rates thank you.
ReplyDeleteHeya sir Andres, I am not familiar with rates but you can try Metro Vigan, yan yata ang pinakamura na pinakamalapit, Cordillera Inn kung matyempuhan mo yung base rate nila, madalas wala sila vacancy..
