Boracay is an island located at the island of Panay in the
Western Visayas region.
The island is under the administrative control of the Philippine Tourism Authority in coordination with the Provincial Government of Aklan.
Boracay's two primary tourism beaches- White Beach and Bulabog Beach.
White Beach faces westward and Bulabog Beach faces eastward.
White Beach is the main tourism beach. It is about four kilometers long and is lined with resorts, hotels, lodging houses, restaurants, and other tourism-related businesses.
Bulabog Beach, across the island from White Beach, is a secondary tourism beach and Boracay's main windsurfing and kiteboarding area.
Leisure activities available on Boracay include scuba diving, snorkeling, windsurfing, kiteboarding and beach relaxation.
**Transfers by shuttle vans or bus to the Caticlan Jetty Port may cost you 1000-2000 pesos from Kalibo Airport (with ferry provision and hotel transfers), depending on your chosen mode. From standard to VIP to the very stylish chopper ride. There is also shuttle only arrangement available at the airport (Kalibo) and pay only P200.00 and P50.00 for the ferry, but this will make you wait at the Jetty Port. Kalibo is about 1.5 hours away to the Jetty Port, while from Caticlan Airport, it will take you less than 10 minutes.
